Johnny Deep launches Vinyl!

I'm very excited to now offer my label music on Vinyl. I am working ever so hard to  add both current and previous Releases from my Labels as well as Upcoming releases on Vinyl. I'm also quite excited that starting soon, all my upcoming releases will be available on Vinyl only, 10 weeks prior to digital release (Don't worry, plenty of Soundcloud Previews before then). Admittedly it does take one month to manufacture each Vinyl on demand and then a bit more time for delivery but i also wanted to give Vinyl lovers the privilege of receiving my music first since they are investing so generously in my physical music.

Admittedly, in order to keep Vinyl costs as low as possible, i have chosen the cheapest sale option. This does mean I only make a few euros per record but hey, I just care about people enjoying my music. If i wanted to be rich, I should have chosen another profession haha. That said, very few people would work as hard as I do for so little money but my mission is to keep The Underground Scene Alive! Most artists care about success which is understandable but in today's world, that usually means selling out and going commercial, something I refuse to do. Of Course every digital or vinyl purchase certainly puts a smile on my face since it gives me the encouragement to keep doing what i do.

One thing I'm really enjoying is mastering for Vinyl, it's been a fun project. Essentially, I need to reduce the compression for Vinyl. While this reduces the Loudness, it also makes the music sound much warmer and sweeter and far less fatiguing to listen to. I Love this type of mastering so much that i'm now going to apply vinyl settings for my new digital releases. My music may not be the loudest in these digital stores but it will be the sweetest hehe.

Lastly, I do understand the investment for a Vinyl purchase. I just ordered a test copy of Star Symphony to Bali and it was certainly not cheap. The reason i've chosen this method of selling though is that to press a batch of vinyl and distribute to stores would cost me 1000s of euros and i have neither the capital nor the guarantee of sales. Perhaps if I can build some sales momentum via On Demand Sales, I can look to sell in retail stores in the future. Big Hugs from Bali!
